With a sense of whimsy and fun, Pooch Barkery bakes gourmet dog treats and cakes from scratch using only the finest hand-selected human grade ingredients available, many organic, and grown or produced in Massachusetts. We have earned a reputation for quality, artisan design and professionalism.  

Owner and Baking Extraordinaire, Mary Kelly has been baking since childhood, first by using the famous Easy Bake Oven. The other side of Kelly is she has always had a love for dogs and currently has a furry friend of her own, Amelia Grace – the cutest Lhasa Apso this side of New England!

After being caught in a corporate downsizing, Kelly went to pastry school and combined her two favorite things, her love for dogs and baking and that is how she found her passion and dream in the creation of Pooch Barkery.

When we first opened our “barkery” back in August 2008, our only pastry case proudly displayed about a dozen different kinds of treats, mainly in two different flavors, peanut butter and cheese. It was a simple beginning.

Today, we have over 4 dozen different treats fill up our TWO six foot cases and shelves. We also offer our four-legged friends our famous “Super Dog Buffet” offering over 10 different freshly baked flavored bones by the pound (no pun intended)!

Every single Pooch Barkery gourmet treat and cake is made with a love for dogs and a passion for baking. We don't ever want our treats confused with supermarket or commercial boxed dog biscuits. We freeze nothing; we use nothing but real, fresh ingredients, including real peanut butter, real cheese and real fruits and vegetables.
